August Already?
As you might have noticed, I have a new design up for the blog! Tell me what you think about it. I like it because it’s pretty clean and easy to navigate. I’m still working on getting a logo for the site and I just threw that little one together for now.
Charity (the little Chi) is doing well. Sherri is bringing her to my house tomorrow and then the next day I take her to get measured for a doggy wheelchair. I also ordered her little boots for her back feet because she drags them around and they’ve gotten a little raw.
I was reading advice/tips for bloggers and it was stressing that you shouldn’t stop writing posts because you feel your blog design isn’t complete yet. I’ve been doing exactly that…spending months stressing over how to have the perfect website, while forgetting to write about all my experiences with dogs.
Things that I’ve experienced in the last month that I haven’t yet written about: helping bail out a dog with a basketball-sized tumor, adopting out a Chi-mix that a friend found, visiting a pug that I adopted out 2 years ago, killing a horse-fly that was preying on a camel, and probably a lot more.
Does anyone still read this blog? Let me know!

Hi – I just found your blog (through an older page with original design). I think the new design would be improved if you kept the picture of yourself on the front page.

The photo looks great! Just gives your blog a better feel if people know who they are talking to… or listening to…

YES! Still loving it! Great new design, I like the blue dog. Makes the site a bit more official.
Have you already made of “Save dogs” a non-profit organization? If not, you could make one maybe, and try to raise money with different stuff. I’m always In to express my love and affection for animals and how much they need to be protected from… us (?) .
You and/or some people could try to make a little “Save Dogs” shop with everyday products people could use, well everyday, and this way would sow the idea of helping dogs, a little more and more. Products like notepads, pens, pencils, erasers, t-shirts, iron-on pads, etc.
I don’t know, maybe you have the idea already, I’m just saying that… like that. ^_^
Thanks for your help to them.

I totally still check in to see what is going on in dog world! I wish you wrote more often but since I rarely update my own blog I can’t really complain! Keep up the good work!

I’m glad I found you again, Jon, and your new blog is great! I know it’s a lot of work to keep a blog current, to post consistently so that readers come back (I eventually quit mine). You’re so inspiring, though, and your success stories are very heartwarming. Please keep up the good work and keep posting!
I agree with Alexandra about getting yourself set up as a non-profit — that will make people more willing to donate to you! And put your PayPal button back up on your site, perhaps under your photo?

I just found your site via the Los Angeles chi meet up group – I am the organizer of the Orange County chi and small dog group and aside from playdates, I post various shelter and other dog events on my calendar so my members can attend. Is your site just a blog or do you actually have dogs out to adopt or info on events etc… I’m not too farmilar with the blog thing so I just didn’t know if there was more info about this site.
Thanks!

Korea’s capital Soul ,the govermant will make public that dogs is eating meat.
There are a lot of dogs must be killed and cooks.Dogs like in Hell ,so direful.
I thought the human kind must stand up and save those poor dogs.
To tell Korea’s govermant that decree is wrong.

I love your blog and reading about how you help animals. I don’t care what the design is, it’s the stories I want. So keep writing!
