This story reminded me of three chihuahuas that North Shore Animal League America rescued. All three were born without their front legs and are special needs pets featured in their Sponsor Program. Hi Jon,

Just wanted to say we are still enjoying your website and are so happy for Charity. We have lost 2 more since Bette Davis – her friends Groucho and Gladys the Griffons. But two of her friends still live and we now have a third toy pom senior female. You’re doing great work, and if ever you should come across another that you think might be a good fit for us, please let us know.
